If my quick calculations are correct, the use of either a 50mm or 100mm lens
would give the following FOV (degrees) using popular KAF CCD sensors:

Lens FL        KAF-400       KAF-1600        KAF-3200
  50mm        5.3 x 7.6        10.5 x 15.7        11.5 x 17.0
100mm        2.6 x 3.8        5.3 x 7.9            5.7 x 8.5

>From the above it is evident that those of us with the most common KAF400
won't be able to meet the 10 deg criteria, unless we use a 'fish-eye' :-)
Larger chips won't have a problem.
