     This star is better referred to as HD HD 164493.  The Houk classification
is B8:II.  Though certainly not a white dwarf, Houk does tend to make the
luminosity classes of B stars too high (bright);  this is more likely to
be an ordinary giant (III) or even a dwarf (V).
     The companions that Arne's photometry evidently separates out are
at 6" north-northeast and 14" south-southeast.
