2002 December 4 total solar eclipse

Good day. Please find attached two images of the 4 December 2002 total
solar eclipse which may be of general interest to vsnet subscribers. I
send to to admin as I am not sure of the correct/proper address. Hope you
do not mind.
These images show the corona and diamond ring at 3rd contact, taken through
my 500mm F4.5 Takumar lens on ISO400 print film. They have been compressed
somewhat for easy transmission. We were located a little east Ceduna, a
coastal town in South Australia and, as can be seen, the clouds were very
close to the eclipsed sun. Hope you enjoy the photos.
This was my first successful total solar eclipse and I can now understand
how people are addicted to them. Perhaps now I will only observe variable
stars between eclipses?!
