[vsnet-chat 5823] Pre-discovery rendezvous of C/2002 Y1

Dear colleagues,

I searched pre-discovery rendezvous of Comet C/2002 Y1 ( Juels-Holvorcem ).

It passed near by NGC 5172 on Dec. 30, just after the discovery. SN
1998cc and SN 2001R have appeared in NGC 5172. So if Juels and
Holvorcem have missed it, it might be caught by supernova hunters.
