What we did was simply mount a CCD (ST-7E, non-ABG) on a fixed telescope
(i.e. without tracking). Then started automatic sequential CCD exposures
with CCDOPS software. We used 3x3 binning (low resolution) and exposure
times of 1.5 sec. Naturally we took flat-fielding and dark images.
The next step was only to send these images (FITS format) to Yoshida-san.
Although we used anonymous ftp, Yoshida-san will probably able to receive
CD-Rs. The stars were recorded as short tracks on CCDs, but Yoshida-san's
software can resolve and reasonably measure such trailed images.
Yoshida-san said that we can probably start at any random position on
the sky, but recording the starting coordinates would help Yoshida-san's
work.
