Hello Noel,
At first I also thought it would be gamma Dor stars. However gamma Dor
itself is an eclipsing binary classified as EW: in the GCVS. I was confused
since there was no explanation in the documentation of the GCVS.
I found the explanation in Namelist 75 (IBVS 4870).
Following explanation is given:
"GDOR - gamma Doradus stars. Early type F dwarfs showing (multiple)
periods from several tenths of a day to slightly in excess of one day.
Amplitudes usually do not exceed 0.1 mag. Presumably low degree g-mode
non-radial pulsators. Prototype: gamma Dor."
In the GCVS, including Namelists 67-76, following GDOR stars can be found:
V0872 Ara |GDOR: | 6.37 | 6.39 |Hp|
DD CVn |GDOR | 7.15 |( 0.04 )|V |
