It is an interesting exercise to try to identify the stronger features
in Doug's spectrum. Among the obvious stuff is: the strong narrow line
near the left side at 5890A is of course the sodium D lines (a pair that
are a few Angstroms apart). The broad absorption between 6200A and 6300A
is a TiO band with the bandhead at 6158A. The right line of the pair
near 6600A is H-alpha, but I can't identify the left one. The strong line
at the right edge of the panel is the bandhead of the terrestrial B band
due to molecular oxygen (lettered 'B' by Fraunhofer just as the sodium lines
are D, calcium H & K lines in the blue, etc.).
