My apologies to Fonseca and Yamaoka-san regarding this
star. I had 4 new variable candidates on my program and confused
the discussion regarding two of them.
Fonseca's new variable is very red; almost invisible
on short exposures at BVR but very obvious at I. Its
accurate position is
18:04:54.77 -24:17:33.9 J2000
The star to its south appears in USNO-B, but the variable
is not cataloged. Based on the variable's red color,
the connection with MSX5C_G006.1856-01.3778 seems pretty secure.
Note that Fonseca's finding charts have south up, east right.
