[vsnet-chat 5298] New charts on my website

Dear friends:

I have prepared several new charts in my webpage at:
http://ar.geocities.com/varsao/cartas_de_variables.htm

**MU and **ETA CENTAURI , two naked eye Be stars. Also included the possible EA **V983 CENTAURI and the SR star **sigma Librae.

** V397 PUPPIS, another Hipparcos eclipsing binary. Also included several low amplitude Be stars that may awaken some day...

** CGCS 1825, a very red mira carbon star with no official designation yet
As a finder chart you need to use the V397 Pup charta and when it is bright, another new chart:

**W PUPPIS, that is a mira.
**V353 HYDRAE one of the best Hipparcos EA's with a large amplitude (0.6
mag.). Use the mu Cen chart as a finder.
A period of 3.777242 d is almost sure based on Hipparcos and Chris Stephan's observations. But it still needs to be confirmed and the secondary eclipse (that probably fell exactly in the only gap of Hipparcos data!) detedcted

Enzo de Bernardini also contributed with:

** R HYDRAE, another peculiar mira with a standstill in the rising branch.
** V950 SCORPII, a low amplitude cepheid (DCEPs)
near the Scorpius tail.

Northern hemisphere charts by Pavol Dubovsky:

** Z URSAE MAJORIS: a bright SR star. Also included **RY URSAE MAJORIS, and some other fainter red variables.

** V BOOTIS: an SR star or a transition case between mira and SR.

** T URSAE MINORIS a mira with a large amplitude. Pavol prepared two charts to monitor this one during its entire cycle.
Also included, **V URSAE MINORIS (SR)
** AF and **AW CYGNI.

Updated versions of the following charts are available:

** AX Monocerotis: There was a typo in the range. It is V= 6.59 - 6.94.

** BO Muscae:  A comparison V= 6.48 has been added.

** omega CMa: two stars added to the sequence to the last period of the observing season due to the low altuitude of the compariosn stars in Lepus. However be careful because these two stars in Puppis are redder and must be used with caution.
(don't stare at them)

** BO Carinae chart: The 130 days period I detected has been added.

Regards,
Sebastian.
