Now that V838 Mon has faded a bit in the blue, the nebular shell
surrounding it (cf IAUC 7859) is becoming more visible.
I can see it easily in a 10-second B filter image with
the 1.0m. You need good seeing, however, as the shell itself
is only 27arcsec across. The U-band image from last
night, to get you oriented, is at:
