   I have noticed an intriguing document dated 2001 June 1.  The necessary
conversions from the electronic IBVS were already done by John Greaves
and Yoshida-san was destined to post them in VSNET format.

Attached are the Sonneberg variables' improved positions as per several
IBVSs, converted into large ascii files.

Kato-san suggested that I pass these onto Yoshida-san for conversion into
vsnet-ID format.  I've passed them on to both of you just in case, anyway,
so that you both have a copy to hand.  Unfortunately every damn page of the
IBVSs, after conversion, had table columns starting at a different position
from the previous page, with no pattern to this, so there was much messing
about needed with a text editor, etc, a tedious task which I don't normally
bother with nor enjoy, so I probably won't do anything like this again.

Anyway, the data are now in ascii files so that anyone who, unlike myself,
is familiar with some script language or other should be able to convert
them readily enough to vsnet-ID style.
