Perhaps Timo may wish to post these improved IDs to vsnet-gcvs (and/or
vsnet-id) as in the manner he did in the past. He asked me the exact
format needed to be automatically incorporated, and he followed my suggestion
until the works by Kinnunen and Skiff started. What is needed is only
a few steps back, not a complete modification of the process.

This is not a solution to what Yoshida-san asked, and a solution to
every star chart programmers. I bet star chart programmers will not
want to consult SIMBAD for all their entries... And the consequence of
the lack of a publicly available single reliable file of variable stars
can be clearly seen in recent incorrect observations by Toni Scarmato.
It is not the ultimate solution to most amateurs that "everything
is in SIMBAD".
