those observation results do they include light from the homunculus? I
think they do...

Hi Bish and others,
Harry did another measure of eta Carinae on 2 February. Here are the
preliminary results for this and the first measure:
JDH -2400000 V B-V U-B
52302.8814 5.144 0.722 -0.316
52307.9694 5.159 0.697 -0.327
Differences 0.015 0.025 0.011
We did this mainly to confirm that there was nothing too much wrong
with the first measure. It seems from these that Harry is still getting
+/- 2% photometry on this object. We'll do a calibration run later in
the season to confirm that there hasn't been too much drift in the
transformation coefficients since year 2000.
