[vsnet-chat 5084] V838 Mon colors

I was able to obtain a UBVRI dataset of this variable
last night, with the following results (along with a
typical earlier night for comparison):
HJD          V     B-V    U-B    V-R    R-I
52288.8061  9.898  1.671  1.768  0.934  0.874 
52309.6288  7.464  1.126  0.260  0.710  0.794
with all errors under 0.01mag.  As you can see, VRI colors
are pretty consistent with earlier in the outburst, but
the U and B colors have changed dramatically.  It will
be interesting to see calibrated spectra from the recent brightening.
