Dear colleagues,

I vaguely seem to remember that we had this discussion before, but I'd
still like to make a strong point for NOT automatically subscribing anyone
to ANY new list. I'd really really prefer if those were announced via
vsnet-announce and who wants to subscribe, does so. I appreciate the
variety offered, but it's simply annoying to have to send unsubscribe
mails almost daily (not to mention that after not reading the mail for a
couple of weeks one has to wade through several hundreds of unwanted
postings).
