[vsnet-chat 4998] HIP 38226 dim again?

While observing V341 Car this evening (first time for a while), I noticed
that nearby HIP 38226 appears to have faded once again:
HIP38226 20010109.52 71 Far
Normally this star is mag 6.7, although I have seen it dimmer than this at
least twice during 2000. FYI the Hipparcos photometry showed this to be a
remarkably constant star.
Probably an EA, but with the high cloud drifting in I'm not expecting to see
much more of this eclipse(?) tonight :(
