The Stephenson carbon-star catalogue revision, published by Alksnis
et al. recently in "Baltic Astronomy", has becone available through the
Strasbourg catalogue services. About 1000 new carbon stars are included.
If I am reading the comments in the catalogue description correctly,
coordinates for the stars are only partly improved, so some care will be
needed in using the catalogue.
