In re the star's appearance on survey plates, here are coordinates
from POSS-I and POSS-II plates via the three available digital scan sets:
source RA (2000) Dec epoch mr mb
USNO-A2.0 15 34 12.195 +59 48 32.73 1953.452 18.5 18.5
APM-North 15 34 12.134 +59 48 32.41 1953.454 18.3 19.1
GSC-2.2 15 34 12.212 +59 48 32.02 1992.326 19.5
If the magnitudes are to be believed, the star was somewhat above quiescence
at the time of both surveys. For calculating proper-motion, I would tend to
trust the USNO-A2.0 position more than the APM position from the first epoch
plates. The GSC-2.2 position is based evidently only on the J (blue) plate.
