Hi Gianluca, check out this site: http://vsnet.miktex.org/ You can order a CD ROM or you can download a distribution from this site, but it is a lot to download. At the time I downloaded it one could select components which one is interested in. Since then the homepage changed a lot and I can't find the page where one could select these components. I have a working version of this distribution (version 1.2) and it is quite good. I have seen there is a new version 2.1 available. I hope this helps you a step further.
