We the MISAO Project discovered a variable star at:

  R.A. 21h22m08s.58
  Decl. +43o32'20".0 (2000.0)

In my database, the position of V599 Cyg is 1.8 arcmin from the
position. So I listed up it as one of the new variable star
candidates. Then John and Taichi Kato pointed out the catalogued
position of V599 Cyg is very near.

# Thanks so much to John Greaves and Taichi Kato for your researches.

I received e-mails from John and he wrote that Jan Manek and Timo
Kinnunen have been regarding our star as V599 Cyg.

Is the revision of V599 Cyg is published in any papers, or planning to
be published? Is it common that V599 Cyg is at R.A. 21h22m08s.58,
Decl. +43o32'20".0 (2000.0), not at the position in the GCVS ?

If yes, we do not assign MisV number for the star and simply report
our observations as those of V599 Cyg to VSNET.

Best regards,
