Berto,
I shall amend the range listed on the charts to read 12.1 - 17.5B as it
appears in the sequence. This was an error that was copied from my previous
working version of this chart.
I too have some reservations about using star 5 in the sequence because it
looks like it may be a close double (from the DSS image). Many of these
sequences may eventually be adopted as the "official" AAVSO chart sequences,
and this breaks one of the chart standard rules, no double stars. I don't
recall noticing it visually, but I had already eliminated it as a possible
comparison so I wasn't paying much attention.
For future reference, if a star is -20 degrees or more south, I usually post
a chart with north up and west right for southern hemisphere observers
convenience at

I welcome and appreciate the comments and corrections suggested by the
observers on this list. It's nice to have the charts sky checked by some of
the world's leading observers. Thank you.
