According to a message that I just received from David Seagent (The
Entrance,
NSW) this comet had brightened to magnitude 6.9 on March 31.42, so
around the requested time.
For those among you that want to observe this comet, and make a
brightness estimate, we have a 6x7.5 degrees chart available with
selected comparison stars with B-V<1.0 in this rather 'red' field, on
our homepage at http://vsnet.shopplaza.nl/astro/
under the link 'comets-charts'.
Here you can also find charts for other comets brighter than magnitude
11.
