Dear Dr. Skiff,

Thank you for your information.

I looked up the index of ADC catalogs and found the following two
catalogs.

	No. 1087B
Luyten Half-Second Catalogue, Second Edition (LHS; Luyten 1979)

	No. 1130
LDS Catalogue: Doubles with Common Proper Motion (Luyten 1940-87)

I think these are what you introduced.

But yesterday the ADC web server was down, so I could not check the
contents.

However, I found that LHS is also included in the Taichi Kato's
"newvar.cat":

	http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/others/newvar.cat

So I checked the fast moving stars we found recently. Then all of them
are identified with "G" stars and some are identified with "LHS"
stars.

MPRE 2001-0001	21h38m00s.46 +27o43'26".6	8.77 mag
= G188-9

MPRE 2001-0041	05h53m14s.04 +24o15'31".9	9.86 mag
= LHS1794 = G100-44

MPRE 2001-0042 06h38m52s.61 +22o55'15".9	11.80 mag
= G104-51

MPRE 2001-0043	07h13m13s.84 +24o06'29".4	10.10 mag
= G88-12

MPRE 2001-0044	00h17m06s.33 +40o56'54".5	8.30 mag
= LHS1053 = G171-44

MPRE 2001-0045	20h21m12s.24 +46o27'16".2	11.18 mag
= G209-26

I put the sets of recent image and DSS image temporarily on the web:

http://vsnet.aerith.net/tmp/proper_motion/2001-0042.gif
http://vsnet.aerith.net/tmp/proper_motion/2001-0043.gif
http://vsnet.aerith.net/tmp/proper_motion/2001-0044.gif
http://vsnet.aerith.net/tmp/proper_motion/2001-0045.gif

Well, I do not know what catalog are the "G" stars from. Anybody
knows?

In conlusion, the stars with large proper motion which can be found in
the MISAO Project are already recorded in those catalogs. So I do not
have to create another catalog.

Best regards,
