On some mistakes in the 4th edition of the GCVS.
...specfically relating to FW Mus.
The folks who put the commercial sky-chart software packages together
generally seem to have to concentrate on the product, i.e. writing code to
make it work, rather than keeping up with astronomical literature, and so
tend to rely on bulk catalogues provided by the data centers, which
inevitably means the products reflect that state of knowledge some years
prior to their release.
