Thank you for your support. I agree with you that fast photometry of
TV Col should be more valuable than observing the (unconfirmed) Nova 
Pup 00. In addition, if the nova amplitude is indeed very small, then 
its binary period is probably relatively long (say ~10 hours - a few
days). If the nova erupted last week, then it is probably too early to
reveal its orbital period.

I've nearly finished a night of continuous photometry on TV Col. So far
nearly 7 hours. I hope the weather continues to be so nice.
