Tycho Epoch Photometry will give two colour photometry for these, which may be of some limited astrophysical interest. For example, if BT-VT is small, eclipse may be shallowish, if large deepish. HIP photometry don't necessarily cover full eclipses well, and this may be an extra clue re such stuff. There's a flag in the main Tycho catalogue for checking whether TYC EP exists in either Annex A or B: I suppose Annex A is available via the ESTEC HIP url???? [which I forget]. Annex B data has to be requested from the CDS... ...go to their main webpages and use a questions email link. That is, after checking that the data is in Annex B. Give 'em the exact Tycho name, which in the vast majority of cases is the same as the GSC name with a space and a one following. Just about all variables recognised as periodic from Hipparcos data should be in Annex A, if memory serves. Cheers John
