Hello,

I am not a member of your lists, but would like to request
any assistance that could be offered by list members in
the identification of what could be called "extremely"
long period variable stars. In particular, I am looking
for stars whose brightness declines over months to years.

Does anyone know of papers discussing such entitites? What would be
the "common" explanations? For example, would matter being siphoned
off by neutron stars or black holes cause this type of effect?

Please email me directly at bradbury@aeiveos.com

Regards,
Robert Bradbury
