Assuming the Tmz and ASAS positions match reasonably, it looks as
though they refer to IRAS 10001-0119, which is not in the BD, but is a nice
red star in Tycho-2. If the question is whether the Tmz or the ASAS name
has priority, then I would say it hardly matters, since these will be
superceded by a GCVS name soon enough. I don't know the evidence, but
it would seem the two surveys found the variable at roughly the same time
independently, and probably Pozmanski does not look at Takamizawa's list
every time he publishes a variable (and perhaps Tmz doesn't look at the
ASAS list). Those should be considered merely in-house bookkeeping names,
and when there's a lightcurve published, designate it by the IRAS name only.
