...interestingly, this paper was one that came up in my ADS search using
"objective prism" as a search phrase and a restriction of 1973.
The reason I hadn't looked at that particular paper out of the 23 "hits"
for 1973 was the title: "The Brighter Stars of Astrophysical Interest in
the Southern Sky" !!! It is also a _big_ paper. Details follow.
