[vsnet-chat 3527] Unsuscribe messages after the the birth of new lists

Dear Colleagues,
I apologize to send this note to the vsnet-chat, but I wanted to share my point of view on
this argument, also after the unusual unsubscribe messages to the lists, conseguence of
the large number of the new lists (which are really useful, also because they are able to
address the arguments properly, better than in the past).
We have seen many mailing lists borning recently. And,
because of this, it is sometimes difficul for me to
surf among all those e-mails. This because the users
are automatically considered as subscribers. Even if
one has the possibility to unsubscribe, this large
number of e-mails remain, for me, a problem. So, I
would like to suggest what follows. I think the vsnet
administrators can create a mailing list called, for
example, "vsnet-newlists", sending to the subscribers
(all the vsnet subscribers, at the beginning, with the
possibility, of course, to unsubscribe) all the
announcements of the new mailing lists, giving all the
details about the new created lists and info about the
way to subscribe.

This will be, for me, very useful to all, as we can
stay informed, if we like, about all the new services
proposed by the administrators.

I would like to know your opinion on this.

All the best,
Gianluca Masi
