[vsnet-chat 3432] new maillists

I'm tired of having to unsubscribe to all of the
thousand new lists that are being created.  May I
suggest that you announce the new list as you have
been doing, but then *do not* automatically subscribe
anyone.  Let those who are interested in diluting
their interests subscribe manually to any new list.
  Also, as far as I can tell, none of my unsubscribes
are doing anything.  I still get messages from lists
for which I have unsubscribed.
  As a professional, I cannot follow more than a handful
of maillists and still get anything done.  Therefore,
anyone who needs to get in touch with me (or who wants
me to comment on anything), the only lists for which
I guarantee that I will be listening are vsnet-chat,
aavso-discussion and aavso-grb-list.
