[vsnet-chat 3385] Wooden UBV data revised

I have completely revised the coordinates and IDs for the list of some 580
stars in four Milky Way fields with UBV photoelectric photometry and spectral
types given by Wooden (1970AJ.....75..324W). I worked over the list about
three years ago, but the coordinates were merely the original ones precessed
to equinox 2000. The revision shows that although most of the positions are
reliable to within 3"-5", there are a number of gross errors, herewith
corrected. At present SIMBAD shows only arcminute coordinates for the fainter
stars, and the GCPD shows an inconvenient mix of names and no coordinates. The
list is not available from the data centers. The availability of Tycho-2 and
GSC-ACT within the Strasbourg VizieR utility made improving the data easy to
deal with. I have added the UBV data, which was not present in my original
version. I did not make a match against the GCVS, so some known variables may
be present. A few sample lines are appended below; N.B. the file extends well
beyond the 80-column format. The completed file is copied to the Lowell ftp
area:
