Examination of USNO A2.0 data for this area seems to show that this is
just may be one of those weird GSC aberrations, and not a star absence
at all! Why it should be a kidney shaped [thus nebula emulating] gap in
the data I dunno...[though digital survey images suggest a damaged
plate]
