Dear Taichi Kato

I am a bit confused by your use of 1RXS-F as the prefix for the
RASS-FSC.

The catalogue itself uses 1RXS, just as the RASS-BSC catalogue does.

I had assumed I'd missed something, however, after seeing one of your
postings, and started to use 1RXS-F for the RASS-FSC and 1RXS-B for
objects in the RASS-BSC, only to note that you still use 1RXS for this
latter catalogue.

The FSC is supposed to be the faint extension of the BSC, so I surmise
it does not contain any common objects, so I suppose both should be just
called 1RXS as per the catalogue entries?

In this light, the PSC is denoted 1RXP and the HRI as 1RXH, so any
clarification with respect to ROSAT naming conventions would be most
appreciated!

Cheers

John
