In re comparison stars for LMC V1341, it might be worth noting that there
are two complementary sequences not far north and slightly west of this
variable. There is GSPC sequence S056 and also a more extensive one by Martin
that goes somewhat fainter. Data for the relevant stars are given below,
extracted from my large reference list.
These stars are probably sufficient to make a local adjustment of the new
UCAC catalogue magnitudes to standard V to provide additional stars closer to
the variable or other objetcs of interest within say half a degree radius of
the combined sequence.
