SW Vul has been relatively densely observed (at least recently), but
bright outbursts look rare. According to my memory, the only outburst
reported to VSNET occurred in 1995, and was detected by Tonny Vanmunster.
Several other photographic records exist. It may be likely most
outbursts don't well reach the limiting magnitude of visual observers.
