   I presume there are a lot of specialists on novae (including statistics)
on this list, but I may list the following recent astro-ph articles,
which gives a new techinque (gamma-ray telescop) in estimating the Galactic
nova rate, as well as a review of previous works base on optical searches.

   All of them are written by Harris et al., using the TGRS gamma-ray
