Please have a look at the spectrum on the VSNET CI Aql page. At least
this is not a spectrum of a nova at maximum. The expansion velocity inferred
from the FWHM looks smaller than those of very fast novae like U Sco etc.,
so the object may be somewhere intermediate between U Sco-type fast recurrent
novae and T Pyx.
