   The spectra we obtained (and others already announced in vsnet-alert)
are very similar to those of classical novae (e.g. unlike that of U Sco).

   However, I wonder why this object had been dropped from the UK "Recurrent
Object Programme" -- when I saw the list in 1998, the object was definitely
in there.

   Are there any prediscovery observations by ROTSE and/or TASS cameras?
