Subject: Cross IDs of some TmzV stars
I found the following in a one off investigation, which I present for
your vsnet-id pages. Stephenson's second catalog of carbon stars
[spectroscopically determined (via object prism surveys)] available at
the CDS ftp site under .../III/156/ is a useful file in confirming some
red variables as LPV.
FOR VSNET-IDs
The following probable Takamizawa Cross IDs are presented :-
TmzV702 = CGCS 5601 [a Carbon Star, Stephenson 2nd ed]
TmzV705 = CGCS 5668 [a Carbon Star, Stephenson 2nd ed]
TmzV731 = CGCS 5377?[a Carbon Star, Stephenson 2nd ed]?
(V. close similar brightness field star causing confusion)
TmzV734 = AC2000 731226 : 'single image' star with BT = 11.95 1897.365
however, probably same as GSCmag 14.0 GSC star.
OTHER
TmzV050 = ROTSE1 J155601.57+370620.4 which ROTSE classes as lpv
Cheers
