Am I the only one who has problems accessing the VS Net pages?
I access the web through 2 separate machines on 2 separate networks.
One is an HP Vectra with Win NT and MSIE 4.0. This is the only
machine I can view VS Net pages more than 2 minutes without the
browser crashing. Most of the time I have to close out MSIE to get it
to function again (go to another page) on this machine. I get Applet
warnings on VS Net light curves and also on the Java graphics on the
VS Net pages.
The other machine is a Packard Bell 415 with Win95 & Netscape. I just
upgraded it to Netscape 4.7 to be able to view VSNet pages because
Netscape 4.04 reportedly was buggy and wouldn't handle the Java. All
VSNet pages used to cause the whole computer to crash until I
upgraded to Netscape 4.7. Now only the browser crashes, but the other
applications still are useable. I still get Java security thread
(sic)notes from the Applets. I can view a VSNet page by saving the
.html file and looking at it on my hard drive (without the Java).
Links to the graphics usually work if they are complete links. I
usually have about 30 seconds to get the page loaded and saved before
the browser crashes.
Does anyone else have problems with the VS Net pages or am I alone?
If I'm alone I'll apologize and then shut up about ths forever.
