For those of you doing CCD aperture photometry of
this nova, you should note that this is a fairly
crowded field (I count 4400 stars in my deep 11x11 arcmin
exposures). As the nova gets fainter, the background
stars will start to contribute a significant fraction
of the total light. Use as small an aperture as
you can.
