Kato-san, in vsnet-alert 3256, notes that N Aql 1999
is rapidly fading. Are there other novae that show
such a rapid decline (I'm demonstrating my ignorance here).
Also, for the period from 990710 to 990713, when the
novae was actually discovered, there is no published
photometry. Before that period, there are only fairly
bright upper limits. Since ROTSE and LOTIS survey the
entire sky several times a night, and have limiting
magnitudes of C~15, I bet there are many data frames
available that could be used to set better upper
limits. Are any of these groups planning to do this?
This field may also have been observed by LONEOS or
LINEAR, for example. How about it, Brian?
