While I am 'observing' with the 1.0-m telescope, and
would under normal circumstances get a BV sequence
for this new nova, it is currently raining 'cats and dogs'.
The weather is expected to break over the weekend.
The closest field to this position that I have observed
is V1315 Aql, located about 2 degrees away. The photometry
there may help in calibrating USNO-A magnitudes. I've
put the photometry on my anon ftp site as
http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequence/v1315aql.dat
