Hi,

we have another case of comparison star selection. 
Near the nova are two 69 stars, the one to the North has B-V=1.2 and
the one to the West is more bluish. In the eyepiece(s) the Western
star looks much brighter than the other one (about 0.2 magnitude to
me). Therefore if the nova is still bluish we must rather use the
Western 69 star as a comparator. For this reason I reported V382 Vel
at 72 and not 71 last night!

Any further comments.... and what is (would be) the present B-V of the
nova?
