I hope the very Nogami-san may have some comment on the previously
measureed superhump period of NY Ser.
Superhump periods of textbook SU UMa stars decrease during superoutburst,
usually at a rate of Pdot/P = 10^{-6}. However, recent observations indicate
some of short-period SU UMa stars show (best examples being SW UMa, V1028 Cyg,
AL Com, V485 Cen) positive Pdots. The inferred period may be suggestive
of a negative Pdot (as in usual SU UMa stars), more observations and analysis
may be needed to verify the actually shortening.
