[vsnet-chat 1995] Re: NY Ser



My data has a lot of scatter, too, due to the
necessarily short exposures I used Thursday night.
Walker's conditions are certainly more challenging
than mine and my hat is off to him for doing so well!

My short exposures are due to a poor drive and an
unguided telescope. I also used a fainter comparison
star than I should have and will attempt to reduce the
scatter in that set of data by re-doing the photometry
with a brighter star when it is in the frame.

Tonight I am shooting NY Ser again and am in my second
hour on it, taking image set #32 as I write. Clear
skies to all of you!
