[vsnet-chat 1975] Re: NY Ser

CBA has charts, but they mark a couple of comparison
stars as suggestions only and no magnitudes are
supplied there. I use the 14.1 star to the SW of NY
for my estimates and I got that magnitude from GSC.
The CBA comparison nearest NY is, as I recall, V about
16.6 but that is pretty tentative as it is too close
to my limit (so far) to do any precision on.

CBA does mostly differential photometry with no great
attempt to get it all rigorously on the same precise
system. Their focus is primarily on short term
variations and what that says about the structure of
the disks.

The field is pretty empty for visual work - and
anything you could do to improve the situation I
personally would appreciate.
