Dear colleagues,
Here I introduce you some interesting rendezvous.
* Apr 30 0h UT
Comet C/1999 H1 ( Lee ) has passed only 3 deg from Nova Vel 1999.
The comet was 8.2 mag at that time. So if someone took images of
the comet, the nova before the discovery should be within the image.
C/1999 H1 ( Lee ) 10 29 22.63 -54 10 49.0 8.2
Nova Vel 1999 10 44 48.39 -52 25 30.7 <5.1
* Jun 4 3h UT
New comet C/1999 K4 ( LINEAR ) will close down to 5 arcmin from a
new bright supernova 1999cf in UGC 8539. Unfortunately, the comet is
so faint as 20.2 mag.
C/1999 K4 ( LINEAR ) 13 33 14.21 +33 00 03.2 20.2
SN 1999cf in UGC 8539 13 33 29.71 +33 03 22.9 15.9
