Hi CV enthusiasts,
I have over the past few weeks posted a large number of new and
revised comparison star sequences based on Arne's CCD field
photometry, mostly of dwarf nova and symbiotic variables. The
sequences are (in no particular order):
V705 Cas, V723 Cas, FG Sge, V1974 Cyg, DY Per, CH Uma, XZ Eri,
ZZ Gem, WZ CMa, BL Cam, CI Cam, TV Col, V650 Ori, VZ Pyz, T Pyx,
TU Crt, RZ Leo, NGC4038, NGC 2997, CG CMa, U Sco, V Sge, TV Crv,
BC Uma, BZ UMa, CI Gem, CW Mon, EX Hya, FBS 1719+834, FBS 1735+825,
FG Ser, GY Hya, XTE J1748-288, SBS 1017+533, TT Crt, TW Vir, Z UMa,
LY Hya, V699 Oph.
They are all available from:
http://ftp.nofs.navy/mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequences/sumner
Be careful in using these sequences. Under no circumstances
should you use these sequences if you have charts from your
variable star association that already have magnitudes on them.
However many of my sequences are for variable stars that do not
have sequences at all, such as V699 Oph and CG CMa. The new
sequences presented can be used for future observations, so long
as you report the source of your comparison stars when you submit
your observations to your parent organization.
Note that some of these sequences may be revised at a later date
as Arne provides additional photometry. I will post details of
such changes as they are made.
